Okay, that doesn't really apply to it being good for character sheets, but I like software that I can try for free. The combat tracker has a full stat block for loaded characters, NPC’s and monsters/creatures. The current combat state may be saved for those game sessions which end in mid-combat. Combat tracking including damage, spells, and a dice-roller. I could copy and paste more skill boxes and in a couple clicks they were placed in rows for me. Load PCGen character files and view characters statistics via a live character sheet. I found this very useful when I was going back and forth on whether my skills should cap at 4, 6, 8, or 10 points. You take a selection of objects, tell them how many rows and columns to form, and Inkscape distributes them appropriately. This group of tools makes lining up objects dead simple. When a whole block of content moves, you notice. probably just gonna design the costumes separately each time instead. Before I used grouping, I sometimes moved checkboxes or underlines by accident without noticing. I was gonna use this as template to draw the various multiverse costumes on but it ended up more like a hgame character sheet. This also makes it harder to move things by accident. But then you need a way of keeping track of how many class levels vs hit dice for DCs, and it rapidly devolves into a cluster. As for the other sections, BAB, saves etc, you run into some other issues, but the largest issue isn't with the character statistics but with static text based fields. take that information bring it over stripping out the CON bonus which can be done even without api on the client end. Sheet creator documentation is available. There isn't really a need to handle each bit of HP gained separately, all you need is to count how many classes of each have a particular dice count.
